Hey guys! Our second day in Paris kicked off with a delicious breakfast at the beautiful inner court of our hotel. After eating we went to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica — a catholic church. The building itself was very stopping but as a cherry on the top it is located in highest hill of the city so you can just imagine the view, which was breathtaking. Actually you don’t have to imagine because I took a pictures of it, haha.
I had looked for tens of great restaurants before our trip that I really wanted to try out but we didn’t end up going to any of them. We were alway ready to eat at a wrong time… In Paris most of the restaurants are open from 10 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and then take a break and open again at 5 P.M. As Finns it was a surprise for us and we had to choose the restaurants based on what was open at that time. This time it was a restaurant we had twitched a day before.
After just sitting for a while, eating and relaxing we headed to the most anticipated sightsee: Eiffel Tower. I had heard it would be smaller that you’d expect but I had no expectations to be honest. Probably that’s why I was so surprised how stunning it really is. We spend a good while taking photos of it for Instagram, climbing there and have a little outfit shoot in front of it. The time had gone by so fast that we for to enjoy the amazing light-show at 10 P.M. I was unlucky to get any good pictures from it though because it only lasts for five minutes.
When we got to the hotel, we ordered food from room service, watched an episode of Heroes on Netflix and went to bed.
