HOME OFFICE

Hey guys! Last week I posted the second episode of my interior design show on YouTube and it concentrated on my home office (check it out from here). It’s the room where I spend most of my time besides the bedroom — sometimes even a little bit too much. It’s the room where most of my blog posts and videos are created. The rest of our apartment is pretty minimalistic but I wanted the home office to have more details and materials. I wanted it to be inspiring and welcoming!

Because it’s a home office — a room where I work — it needs to have plenty of space and storage for shooting and camera equipment. We worked on the room with my favorite online interior design store Room21 and String-shelves were the perfect choice there. It takes little room but has a lot of space for my stuff and as a cherry on the top; it’s looks so pretty! It was a wise choice considering the fact that someday when we move it can be modified to for example a book shelve or media table if it doesn’t work in the home office. The products in the String -product family can be built just the way you like.

We chose La Lampe Gras -lamps for the home office (just like for every other room…) because I’m totally in love with them. They’re simple yet minimalistically detailed. And as the living room, a lovely Chhatwal & Jonsson pillow finishes the result.

Hellou! Julkasin viime viikolla toisen osan Naakan Pesä -sisustussarjasta, missä sisustin mun työhuoneen (tsekkaa jakso täältä). Huoneen missä vietän makuhuoneen jälkeen toisiksi eniten aikaa, välillä vähän liikaakin. Huoneen missä syntyy suurin osa mun postauksista ja videoista. Muu asunto meillä on tosi minimalistinen, mutta halusin työhuoneeseen enemmän erilaisia yksityiskohtia ja materiaaleja. Halusin tehä huoneesta ennen kaikkea inspiroivan ja sellasen, että tänne on aina kiva tulla!

Kyseessä on kuitenkin työhuone, joten siellä täytyy olla tilaa kuvata videoita ja säilytystilaa kameravälineille, sekä kasoille tärkeitä papereita. Toteutettiin sisustus yhteistyössä yhden lemppari sisustusverkkokauppani Room21 kanssa ja String -sarjan hyllykkö olikin nappi valinta tuonne. Se vie vähän tilaa, mutta siihen mahtuu kuitenkin paljon tavaraa ja se on myös aivan mielettömän näkönen. Tulevaisuuttakin ajatellen tuo on oiva valinta, sillä ehkä joskus jossain toisessa asunnossa siitä saa muokattua olohuoneen kirjahyllyn tai vaikka TV -tason, jos se ei vaikka sen asunnon työhuoneessa toimikkaan. Näistä String -sarjan tuotteista voi rakentaa just omiin tarpeisiin sopivan ratkasun.

Laitettiin  työhuoneeseen (kuten meidän asunnon muihinkin huoneisiin) La Lampe Gras -merkin valaisimet, joihin oon aivan rakastunut. Ne on simppeleitä, mutta samalla niissä on useita pieniä yksityiskohtia. Ja kuten olkkarin niin työhuoneenkin sisustuksen viimeistelee ihana Chhatwal & Jonsson -merkin tyyny.
